Post base accessories, namely covers and adapters, are designed to cover unsightly hardware and installation imperfections and provide a finishing touch to your project.

NUVO IRON POST BASE COVERS & ADAPTERS

We offer four different post base accessories—the post cap collar adapter or PCCA4B, the post plate cover or UPPC, the 4” x 4” aluminum deck post cover or ADPBS4 and the 6” x 6” aluminum deck post cover or ADPBS6.

All feature:

  • An elegant design built to finish off your project
  • Post protection from scuffs, scrapes and scratches
  • A design built to hide unsightly nuts, bolts or gap lines and any other installation imperfections
  • An easy-to-clean and low-maintenance design

All cover our wood post connector plate and heavy duty wood post connector plate (WPCP4B & HDWPCP4B)

While all our post base accessories feature an easy installation process and elegant black design, they differ in a few key ways:

ADPBS4

  • Intended for use with a nominal 4” x 4” post
  • Is made of marine-grade aluminum with a textured satin powder-coated finish

A simple and sleek look with its fastener-free snap-together design

ADPBS6

  • Intended for use with a nominal or rough lumber 6” x 6” post
  • Is made of marine-grade aluminum with a textured satin powder-coated finish

A simple and sleek look with its fastener-free snap-together design

Before purchasing either, measure your posts and determine which one you’ll need for your project.

PCCA4B

  • Can be used as either a post cap adapter or a post base collar
  • As an adapter, it’s perfect for use with any of our 6″ x 6″ caps
  • If you’d like to use it as a collar, you can use two covers together to create a post collar that hides joints and seams from connected post sections.

UPPC

  • Includes adapters to fit around 2”, 2 ½” and 3″ posts on plates and 3 ½” metal, composite, vinyl and wooden posts as well as nominal 4” x 4” wood posts (which actually measures 3 ½” x 3 ½”).

As always, remember to check local guidelines and building regulations to determine that the project you’re setting out to complete is safe and compliant.
