Can the RDPS26 balusters be used for both deck and stair railings?

Yes. The 26-inch length is suited to both deck rail and stair rail applications. This is the only round baluster length that supports stair installations. The longer 32-inch (RDPS32) and 36-inch (RDPS36) balusters are designed for deck railings only.

Which connectors do I need for the RDPS26?

It depends on the application. For deck railings, use SMDRA Surface Mount Deck Rail Connectors. For stair railings, use SMSRA Surface Mount Stair Rail Connectors or SRAR Stair Rail Adapter Connectors. All are sold separately in 20-piece packs. Alternatively, balusters can be installed using the pre-drilled method without connectors.

Is there a kit that includes balusters and connectors together?

Yes. The Contractor Value Pack (CR-26) includes 30 balusters with connectors suitable for both deck and stair railing installations. Ideal for larger projects or for contractors who prefer an all-in-one solution.
