The newly released Nuvo Iron boxed fence system is making waves in the industry and winning over consumers, contractors, and stores every day with its all-in-one convenience. That said, our fence system is fairly new and we know people can have preconceived notions or ideas of what it is or what it might be lacking (spoiler alert: nothing). Here are some common myths:

Myth: Boxed Fence Systems Are Materially Different Than the Counterpart

Truth: Some may assume that because our boxed fence system is pre-packaged, it’s of inferior quality compared to custom-built fences or the iron fence traditionally purchased. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Our boxed fence system is forged from durable materials and undergoes the same rigorous quality control as our traditional iron fence.

Myth: Boxed Fence Systems Require Difficult Installations

Truth: Another myth is that boxed fence systems are difficult to install. While it’s true that any iron fence installation will require some level of effort, our boxed fence system comes with clear instructions and pre-cut components, making installation easier than expected. As always, you can always contact a contractor to take care of the installation process for you if you’d prefer to leave it up to a professional.

Myth: Boxed Fence Systems Are One Size Fits All

Truth: Let’s clear the air on this one. While it’s true that some fence systems can be pretty rigid, ours is designed with flexibility in mind. Sure, we offer one panel in the most common size we found customers ordered the last 20 years for projects that also ship easily and meet almost all building and pool code requirements. But here’s the kicker – we know that every property is unique. That’s why we’ve made our panels easy to customize. Need a specific width? No problem. You can cut our panels down to size without breaking a sweat. And don’t worry about those cut sections going to waste – we sell connector packs that’ll help you use every last bit. So whether you’re working with a perfectly square yard or something a little more… creative, we’ve got you covered.

Myth: Boxed Fence Systems Are More Expensive

Truth: While the upfront cost of a boxed fence system may seem higher than buying individual components, it’s often more time and cost-effective in the long run. Take into account that for our panels and gates, we have included hardware (e.g. brackets or self-closing mechanisms for gates) and offering a system which ships more easily, also helps reduce your costs. You can pick up our system from your local hardware store and fit it in a pick-up truck or directly ship it to your house. In the end, with materials and parts included and shipping factored into the equation, it’s a no-brainer.

Myth: Boxed Fence Systems Require More Maintenance

Truth: The general maintenance of our boxed fence system is identical to that of our regular iron fence. Inspect it regularly and occasionally rinse it down with the hose or wipe it with a soft cloth, soap and warm water and you’ll end up with a product that’ll last season after season.
